EECS rooms

Many rooms around MIT are consistently used by the EECS department and students.

  • Grier Room (34-401) - Large conference room used for large meetings. It can also be divided into two smaller spaces (Grier A and Grier B). Go to [1] for information on how to reserve it.
  • Jackson Conference Room - Located between the EECS Graduate Office and the EECS Undergraduate Office. Used for meetings.
  • Allen Conference Room (36-462) - New RLE conference room. Only RLE-affiliated people can reserve it.
  • Hermann Anton Haus Conference Room (36-428) - New RLE conference room. Only RLE-affiliated people can reserve it.
  • Chu Lounge (38-201) - A student lounge used for meetings and free food events (undergoing renovations as of April 2017). There is one Athena machine in Chu. Combo required to open the door.
  • Stata Student Workspace (32-044) - In the basement of Stata. Students are encouraged to use it as a study and meeting room. Some TAs hold office hours here.
