Where was your related work published?

Take a look at the proceedings: would your work fit there?

If there aren't any yet, send an abstract to the organizers and ask if it's what they're looking for.

Does your paper have the sort of content / evaluation that other papers there have?

Ask other grad students and your research advisor.
