Each semester, the MIT chapter of Eta Kappa Nu (HKN), the EECS national honor society, publishes the Underground Guide to Course VI, which provides an "insider look" at each subject taught in our department. Student volunteers hand out evaluation forms to students as well as staff during lecture of each subject near the end of the term to inquire about various aspects of the subject. The responses are compiled and published both online (see above) and in paper form (available in the EECS Undergraduate Office, 38-476). Though treated very professionally, the Guide is full of light-hearted humor and inside jokes.
